In recent years, Japanese companies' investment appetite has been increasing significantly to capture the growth in Southeast Asia, a major economic zone with a population approaching 700 million. At our firm, which provides top-tier business consulting services for Japanese companies in Southeast Asia, there has been a significant increase in projects related to the planning and execution of M&A strategies across the region.

We are witnessing a surge in large-scale M&As that dramatically transform business portfolios, acquisitions to capture growing demand, and investments in startups pursuing innovation. As M&A activities in Southeast Asia become a central pillar of growth strategies, we are seeking individuals who can lead our M&A consulting business in this dynamic region.

As a Manager, you will demonstrate leadership in a mixed team of local and JCS members, managing projects while using personal strengths to support project and client development.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in M&A as a client service (not in-house M&A)
  • Professional experience in strategy and M&A-related consulting or FAS, along with relevant experience
  • Proven track record of contributing to securing projects through proposal activities
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Native level Japanese and business level English or native level English and business level Japanese
  • Southeast Asia related consulting experience
