Work you’ll do

Deloitte's Tax Services help companies and individuals manage their tax costs and obligations effectively, especially in the area of cross-border tax matters. Leveraging on Deloitte's global resources, our Tax professionals keep clients abreast of developments that have tax implications and advise them in structuring investments, merger and acquisitions, transfer pricing, tax planning and compliance.

For its Global Employer Services service line, Deloitte Tax Services is keen on recruiting candidates who are willing to fit into the roles outlined below and have the requisite qualification and acumen to assume responsibilities attached to the job.

• Demonstrate technical competence in tax compliance reporting and ability to draft tax advisory deliverables.
• Up to date with key technical update and competent in suggesting solutions to employers and individual expatriates’ concerns on tax compliance related issues.
• Strong communication skill and able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders.
• Understand and utilize tax software to prepare and process returns.
• Able to identify and help to explore potential improvement on engagement process.
• Conduct compliance and reporting, tax management, risk and control assessment.
• Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients and thought leadership brochures.
• Contact officers from Inland Revenue Board and other government agencies where required.
• Other support tasks required by the team.

Requirements

• Possess minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting & Finance/Economics or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 3.20.
• Senior role : Possess at least 3 yearsexperience in related field.
• Associate role :Possess at least 1years experience in related field.
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Active participant in career development and training processes.
• Teamwork – strong ability to work with others and share responsibilities.
• Solid ability to prioritize and organize workload.
