Work you’ll do

• Understand the legal and commercial issues influencing Vietnamese businesses;
• Identify leads through existing relationships and exhibit the ability to generate services through these contacts;
• Identify areas of engagement efficiency improvement;
• Communicate decisions and performance expectations clearly and keep team members well informed;
• Provide timely guidance and direct feedback and mentorship that contribute to the ongoing development of the staff;
• Lead and connect multiple teams on various client engagements in providing services and developing others;
• Work and report directly to Partners on client-related issues as well as various administration issues;
• Support business development initiatives for the Tax & Legal Function;
• Act as a mentor/counsellor for a group of staff;
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management levels.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Law firm/professional services/commercial or financial services environment (International Law Firm experience is preferable)
• A university degree in Commercial Law
• Must have Lawyer Practice Certificates
• Strong understanding of Vietnamese market trends and their potential relevance to various client types
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, business acumen, persistence, and determination
• Excellent command of both verbal and written English
• Strong analytical, interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
