Job summary

AURELIUS SOFTWARE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead IT initiatives across the Asia region. You will analyze ideas, build comprehensive proposals, and drive governance while coordinating with Business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities include detailed planning, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and ensuring on-time delivery with quality. You will guide teams through delivery milestones, SOWs, and go-live activities, maintaining high standards and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/IT/CS or related field
• 12-15 years of IT project management experience
• Deep understanding of T24 Core Banking; Temenos wealth suite preferred
• Proven delivery of major projects on time and with quality
• Experience in senior stakeholder management with STCs
• Experience in managing project financials (forecast vs actual)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure

Responsibilities

• Analyse and detail the project idea and assess feasibility, costs, risks and success factors with Business and IT stakeholders
• Develop the project proposal with objectives, resources, milestones, schedule, costs and structure
• Drive project proposal through demand governance process
• Set up project management processes and report status to senior stakeholders
• Initiate escalations to senior stakeholders if needed
• Develop detailed project plan and create work breakdown structure
• Set up an appropriate project organization and identify stakeholders and team members
• Lead the team in project meetings (SIT/UAT/BRD walkthroughs/Solutions walkthroughs)
• Manage scope, time, budget, risks and issues on an operational level
• Assess impact of change requests and reconcile with governance
• Manage rollout/go-live and handover to Operations
• Establish and implement QA processes and ensure quality and acceptance

Job description

Project Management

• Analysing and detailing the project idea, assessing the project idea in terms of feasibility, cost-effective-ness, risks and success factors in consultation with Business and IT stakeholder
• Develop the project proposal with objectives, resources, milestones, schedule, costs, expenses and project structure
• Drive project proposal through demand governance process
• Set up appropriate project management processes, measure project performance and report status to senior stakeholders
• Initiate escalations to senior stakeholders if needed
• Develop detailed project plan and create work break down structure (subprojects, work packages, etc)
• Set up an appropriate project organization, including identification and management of stakeholders and team members
• Actively lead the team/squad in various project meetings i.e. SIT / UAT checkpoint calls, BRD walkthroughs, Solution Walkthroughs.
• Manage scope, time, budget, risks and issues on an operational level
• Identify the impact of change requests, issues and changes to underlying assumptions; for project plan variances, develop solution proposals and reconcile them with the demand governance stakeholders
• Manage roll-out / go-live and for the hand-over of the solution to the Operations organizations
• Establish and implement project-related quality assurance processes and measures; ensure the quality of the outcomes and drive their respective acceptance and approval

Stakeholder Management

• Represents IT Asia as an ITPL/ Scrum Master when facing off with internal and external stakeholders
• Work with team members to proactively mitigate risk and provide clear communication plan in a timely manner.
• Provide regular project/program updates to stakeholders.
• Present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions
• Communicate key insights and findings to IT and business counterparts and work closely with them. Lead knowledge sharing with RTB team for newly implemented modules or functionalities.
• Ensure delivery is predictable i.e. stakeholder are updated regular on the progress and the risks

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure appropriate ethical and compliant behaviour within the function by clear demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science/Related Field
• 12-15 years of IT experience in Project Management in running Waterfall/ Agile projects
• Deep understanding of T24 Core Banking, Temenos wealth suite would be preferred.
• Proven experience in successful delivery of major projects, on time and with quality and within matrix team structures
• Experience in Senior stakeholder management running projects STCs
• Experience in managing project financials (forecast v actual)
• Good understanding of technology trends in banking is preferred
• Working experience of SDLC and Agile methodology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challenge business/technical requirements to build good and scalable solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
• Having very high quality standards for the service delivered to business and have an Eye for attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, concurrent / conflicting priorities with business and IT stakeholders.
