Job summary

PerkinElmer in Singapore is seeking a System Test Engineer to drive VAVE and cost-reduction efforts across existing products and NPIs. You will partner with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to verify performance, stability and reliability, and to ensure test stations, methods and processes are ready for production transfer.

The role covers system-level testing and fault analysis of instruments (Mass Spectrometry, ICP-OES, GC), investigating defects, identifying root causes, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years analytical instrumentation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; requires interaction with managers, supervisors, engineers.
• Prioritization, multi-tasking and ownership of projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate VAVE initiatives and support cost reduction across products.
• Lead testing, verification, and validation activities for products and NPIs.
• Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) transfers from development into production.
