We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Systems Project Manager with deep domain expertise in industrial automation, condition monitoring, and smart diagnostics technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, IoT integration, and advanced diagnostics tools such as Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) and Vibration Monitoring Systems (VMS).
This leadership role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of automation and condition monitoring projects, driving innovation in predictive maintenance strategies, and ensuring seamless system integration aligned with reliability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation and smart maintenance solutions.
- Oversee the implementation and performance optimization of MCSA and VMS technologies to enhance asset reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Drive the adoption of IoT-based architectures for real-time data acquisition, remote diagnostics, and centralized condition monitoring.
- Manage full project cycles including requirements gathering, system architecture design, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and post-deployment support.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across engineering, IT, and operations to ensure interoperability and system-level alignment.
- Guide the development of technical documentation such as control philosophies, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and maintenance protocols.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and field specialists, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity protocols for all deployed systems.
- Maintain strategic relationships with vendors and technology partners to keep abreast of emerging tools and methodologies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation, control systems, and electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Advanced proficiency in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
- Deep familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms (e.g., Weintek, Advantech, Mitsubishi).
- Proven track record in deploying and interpreting MCSA and vibration diagnostic tools for rotating equipment.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, and Profibus.
- Strong technical expertise in circuit design and controller programming.
- Practical understanding of IoT ecosystems and integration with enterprise/cloud-based platforms.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for project execution, site support, and client engagement.
