Job summary

Visa is seeking an experienced IT Operations and Endpoint specialist to manage global endpoint deployments, coordinate projects, and maintain secure, compliant systems. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to automate tasks using Generative AI and ensure high service levels across time zones.

The role requires Linux administration, foundational PM skills, and ITIL awareness. Occasional after-hours on-call shifts and in-office days are expected to support VisaNet

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, technical advice and support to Visa clients and processors to ensure expectations are exceeded.
• Coordinate projects and proper documentation and task updates.
• Use Generative AI tools to deliver automation and efficiency in day-to-day work.
• Create implementation scripts for vendor field engineers and support teams.
• Install Linux systems with on-site vendor engineer remotely.
• Work with Global Support groups to provide flexible solutions and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure deployments follow Visa security guidelines and report non-compliance.
• Communicate with global teams across cultures and time zones.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Provide weekly reporting for CMDB and BASE II records.
• Act as Change and ServiceNow Coordinator to ensure incidents and changes comply with ITIL and ServiceNow rules.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Global Endpoint Operations manage the Endpoint Systems that connect the Visa’s Client globally to VisaNet for transaction processing, clearing and settlement. The team is responsible for all technical aspects of the endpoint lifecycle from project initialization, system installation and maintenance, operational support to system disconnection. The engineer is responsible for project management and implementation of endpoint projects, working with global clients, vendors, and Visa Internal team to expand access of Visa products and services globally.

Essential Functions

• Provide project management, technical advice and support to Visa’ Client institutions and processors to ensure customers expectation are exceeded.
• Project Coordination and proper documentation and update of task
• Using Generative AI tool to delivery automation and efficiency in day-to-day work
• Create implementation scripts for vendor’s field engineers and support team for installation and activation
• Perform installation of Linux system with the help of on-site vendor engineer remotely
• Proactively work with Global Support groups and/or client or vendors to provide flexible and nimble solution for client issues and resolve system problems quickly
• Ability to manage customer satisfaction, commitment and expectations to high service levels and manage escalations adequately
• Ensure that all deployment follow Visa security guidelines and report any non-compliance.
• Communicate and work cordially in global team with teammate from different culture and in time zone.
• Participate as a member of an on-call rotation to support multiple systems during off-hours
• Work evenings and weekends as needed
• Provide weekly reporting for CMDB and BASE II record
• Act as Change and ServiceNow Coordinator to ensure all incidents and changes are in compliance to ITIL and ServiceNow Rule.
• Act as Inventory Record Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely update of inventory
• Proactively work with leaders to implement improvement and help push the team to achieve better efficiency and advancing in technical knowledge.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
• 1 Year working Experience in IT Operations and Delivery or Fresh Grads with excellent result during interview technical test
• Experience in Linux System administrative task
• Foundational Project Management skills
• ITIL Foundation

• Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with using Generative AI using m365 copilot, Claude code, Codex to work and automate task
• Basic HTML, Programming or Scripting Language
• Understand XML, JSON and XSLT
• Encryption Security Technology like SSL and IPSEC
• Ability to effectively perform problem isolation and resolution of critical systems in order to have the least amount of impact and downtime
• Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience.
• Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under minimum supervision
• Ability to assess and analyze technical situations and provide viable alternatives
• A keen interest to learn new skills and technology either through online resources or class training
