Job summary

Qualifications

What you will be working on:

We are hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to join our team developing our internal 3D geospatial web application for urban planning simulations and studies. You will be developing highly interactive tools and features, working closely with users, UI/UX designers and fellow developers to enhance this application and achieve good performance and maintainability.Objectives and Responsibilities• Develop new features for a geospatial Web application with interactive components in an independent manner• Acquire knowledge about urban planning work and devise solutions that drive desirable planning outcomes• Integrate cloud and GIS technologies with APIs and SDKs• Write unit tests and documentation on new features developed• Manage feature development lifecycle from conception to deployment, including timeline planning and resource allocation• Active in responding to product feedback, providing timely responses and solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term improvements• Establish coding standards and best practices for the team

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field• Proficiency in Web technologies, Typescript and React• Interest in urban planning and its technological applications• Preferred experience with cloud infrastructure• Preferred experience authoring unit/integration tests• Strong project management skills• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and principles• Knowledge of modern frontend architecture patterns and best practices• Passion for creating impactful solutions that benefit end-users
