Job description

What the role is:

You will be part of a team working with various stakeholders within HDB and with external agencies to administer corporate IT systems and drive ICT initiatives/projects for HDB.

What you will be working on:

You will be required to review and analyse business needs, confer with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions, and develop plan of approach, analyse existing processes, and make recommendations to better streamline the overall processes within the solution. You will be involved in the integration of solution with other business systems and applications used in HDB. You are expected to take a corporate, strategic perspective, whilst understanding the varied business needs and challenges, when administering the systems. You are expected to build up a thorough understanding of the business and to have technical understanding of the systems architecture, to collaborate effectively with the stakeholders, including the development team.You will need to understand the IT and data management policies/guidelines to ensure compliance to these policies and guidelines.You will also be required to do programming to generate computer reports for policy review and analysis and operations. You will also take on coordination work for the Group on IT-related matters.

What we are looking for:

You should possess a background in Information Systems or equivalent, and with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Project Management. You should be a meticulous, organised, and fast learner who have strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills and can work well in team environment as well as independently. Experience in programming, excellent communication, presentation and writing skills will be an added advantage.Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract in the first instance.
