Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team responsible for the operations, support, maintenance, and R&D of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system. You will play a key role in ensuring continual innovation and operational excellence in the infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to on-premise environments and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
• Participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the infrastructure.
• Ensure system hardware, software systems, and related processes align with organizational values and meet performance standards.
• Accountable for maintaining systems like Linux, Windows, UNIX (AIX), and backup software tools including Veritas NetBackup and Tivoli Storage Manager that support IT infrastructure.

Specific Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Data Communications, or Computer Science (Diploma holders with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply).
• System Engineer certification in Linux and/or Microsoft (Virtualization and Cloud experience is an advantage, but not a must).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in system administration.
• Experience with Linux scripting, VMware Virtualization, and Cloud technologies (GCC experience is a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in Linux/Unix and the ability to solve complex system issues independently.
