Job summary

XG Tech PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Stability and Debug Engineer to advance system-level software for next‑gen SoCs.

You will tackle stability challenges across Linux kernel, RTOS, and driver layers to ensure reliable operation on smart vehicle and embedded platforms. Responsibilities include debugging chip bring‑up, analyzing kernel and system faults, and developing automated tests to verify performance and stability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields, with ≥5 years in Linux kernel or embedded systems.
Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture, memory management, filesystems, scheduling, and drivers.
Proficiency with debugging toolchains (GDB, ftrace, perf) and stability tools (KASAN, memoryleak) to reproduce kernel oops and panics.
Hands‑on experience with chip/embedded system bring‑up, Bootloader ports (LK/U‑Boot/UEFI), Linux kernel porting, and low‑level driver debugging.

Responsibilities

Design and implement stability solutions for chip software systems, resolving crashes, deadlocks, memory leaks, and performance issues.
Assist in chip bring‑up debugging, including Bootloader startup and Linux kernel initialization.
Analyze chip‑level anomalies and system‑level faults to drive hardware/software optimization.
Investigate and resolve Linux kernel and driver issues, including scheduling, memory management, filesystems, and I/O performance.
Develop product verification plans and automated tests for stability (e.g., kernel panic injection, long‑term tests).
Modify and optimize Linux/RTOS system‑level code to meet performance and stability requirements.
