System Specialist (L3, Windows, Vmware / Banking) (D: 665606)

Our client, a well-known SI company is looking for candidates for the System Management Specialist position for Banking end client.

Responsibilities:

1. Operation and maintenance of internal systems and developed servers for bank customer.
2. Preparation of operational documentation.
3. General operation tasks such as access log reporting, patching work.
4. Co-ordinate with vendors and deal with contracts (software licence renewals, hardware maintenance).
5. Handling user enquiries.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher.
2. Experience in managing multiple servers, mainly Windows.
3. Familiarity with ITIL concepts and at least three years' experience in operations and maintenance.
4. Have the technical knowledge over IT Support Level - Tier 3(*)
5. General knowledge of on-prem server management, including VMware.
6. Ability to prepare system design and procedure manuals independently.
7. General knowledge of managing cloud servers.
8. Escalating promptly to the appropriate person.
9. A willingness to work with the team leader to identify operational issues and proactively undertake improvement activities.
10. Ability to carry out work-arounds of system troubles as they occur, as well as investigate and respond to root cause resolution.
