Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop simulation platforms and validation methods for mobile robot fleets in manufacturing and logistics.

You will design modules, build data pipelines and APIs, and integrate with Unity, Gazebo and Omniverse to drive digital twins and sim-to-real validation across diverse environments, collaborating with robotics and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in professional software engineering with a focus on simulation or real-time systems.
• Proficiency in programming with Python and/or C++.
• Experience in developing APIs, simulation applications, and maintainable software.
• Familiarity with simulation frameworks such as Unity, Gazebo, and Omniverse.
• Experience in digital twin development and sim-to-real workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL, data schemas, and data-quality validation processes.
• Understanding of REST APIs and MQTT.
• Experience with robot simulation and integration with automation platforms.
• Capable of effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
