Job summary

NEWTONE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Software Architect to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and microservices on containerized platforms within an Agile team with offshore developers.

You will drive the technical roadmap and ensure scalable, reliable Java applications. Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, integrating with databases and messaging systems like IBM MQ and Kafka, performing reviews, mentoring juniors, and guiding production releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in Java based development with relevant architecture and design principles knowledge.
• Experience with messaging tools like IBM MQ / Kafka is a plus.
• Prior experience in financial or public sector industry is a plus.
• Experience building backend systems using object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with RESTful API development.

Responsibilities
