Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled System/Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco, Huawei, and HP networking technologies, as well as solid experience in server, storage, and workstation systems. This role involves the design, implementation, and management of complex IT infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Engineering:
   • Design, configure, and maintain networks using Cisco, Huawei, and HP equipment.
   • Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
   • Implement and monitor network security protocols and policies.
   • Configure and maintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
2. System Administration:
   • Install, configure, and manage servers, including HP, Dell, and Huawei servers.
   • Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches for server operating systems (Windows/Linux).
   • Monitor and optimize storage solutions (SAN, NAS) for performance and reliability.
   • Manage workstation deployments and maintenance for end-users.
3. Storage & Backup Solutions:
   • Design and implement enterprise-grade storage solutions.
   • Configure backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
   • Perform regular backups and conduct restoration testing.
4. Troubleshooting & Support:
   • Diagnose and resolve network, server, and system issues.
   • Provide technical support for escalated issues from end-users or IT staff.
   • Perform root cause analysis and document solutions for recurring issues.
5. Monitoring & Optimization:
   • Monitor network and system performance using tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Huawei eSight.
   • Optimize resources to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Create and maintain detailed documentation for network, server, and storage configurations.
   • Provide regular reports on system performance, security, and capacity planning.
7. Collaboration:
   • Work with cross-functional teams to support organizational IT initiatives.
   • Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers or IT staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in system and network engineering.

Technical Skills:

1. Networking:
   • In-depth knowledge of Cisco (e.g., IOS, Catalyst, Nexus), Huawei (e.g., VRP), and HP networking devices.
   • Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
   • Hands-on experience with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs).
2. System Administration:
   • Expertise in HP ProLiant, Huawei FusionServer, or Dell PowerEdge servers.
   • Solid understanding of operating systems: Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS).
   • Experience in managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
3. Storage:
   • Knowledge of enterprise storage systems such as HP 3PAR, Huawei OceanStor, or Dell EMC.
   • Experience with SAN/NAS configurations and troubleshooting.
4. Tools & Automation:
   • Proficiency with network monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Huawei eSight, or Nagios.
   • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and configuration management.
5. Backup Solutions:
   • Familiarity with backup software such as Veeam, Symantec NetBackup, or CommVault.
6. Compliance & Security:
   • Understanding of IT compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).
   • Experience with implementing security measures such as firewalls, ACLs, and encryption.

Soft Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:
