Job summary

SINGAPORE CRRC PUZHEN RAILWAY VEHICLES SERVICE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior professional to lead the system integration for a fully automated railway solution in Singapore. The role covers end-to-end interfaces among vehicles, train control, communications and traction electrification.

You will organise tender documents, manage design contracts, and establish a dedicated interface team reporting to the Project Director to ensure on-time delivery and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities

• System integration leadership: take responsibility for integration of railway systems and interfaces across multidisciplinary, automated rail systems.
• Technical planning & design freeze: prepare tender documents, supervise design contracts, plan and review designs and drawings.
• Interface coordination team: establish and lead a dedicated team reporting to the Project Director, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
• Interface management documents: maintain interface plans, matrices, registers, BIM drawings and change control; run interface meetings.
• System coordination & critical path: coordinate all systems, monitor interfaces, resolve issues to avoid schedule impact.
• Testing, commissioning & handover: organise factory tests, inspections, stage testing, ORAT, and as-built document prep.

Job description

1. System Integration Leadership: Take full responsibility for integration of the railway system, managing interfaces and systems integration for multidisciplinary fully automated rail systems, including vehicles, train control, communications and traction electrification.

2. Technical Planning & Design Freeze: Organise preparation of project tender technical documents; participate in contract negotiation and management; supervise contractors and designers to execute according to design contracts and specifications; prepare overall and discipline-specific technical plans; organise design liaison meetings, review design schemes/drawings and complete design freeze.

3. Interface Coordination Team: Establish and lead a dedicated interface coordination team, reporting directly to the Project Director/Deputy Project Director; manage coordination with interfacing contractors, fixed facility designers/contractors, relevant stakeholders and other parties.

4. Interface Management Documents: Prepare and maintain Interface Management Plan, Interface Matrix, Interface Register, Interface Drawings/BIM, Interface Solution Forms; organise interface meetings, monthly interface reports and interface change control.

5. System Coordination & Critical Path Monitoring: Coordinate all systems, monitor critical path interfaces, resolve interface issues, and ensure timely completion without impact on project schedule.

6. Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Organise factory tests, factory acceptance, delivery inspection and opening inspection records/reports for systems/equipment; support stage testing, trial run, trial operation, ORAT, technical archive management and as-built document preparation.
