Job summary

U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. invites applications for the role of Assistant Principal Engineer, C3, Mobility Rail. This permanent position requires leading interface projects from inception to completion on-site, within a railway systems environment.

The successful candidate will head a team of interface engineers, serve as the main client contact for ISCS activities, and coordinate with external consultants and SWCs to resolve interface issues while ensuring on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in railway systems.
• Good customer management skills advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
• Ability to work as a team player and as a team lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sessions with Customer, External Consultants and SWCs to discuss System Interface issues.
• Plan and schedule interface testing with subsystems of major SWCs.
• Coordinate with Software Development Team to deliver ISCS software for ITC activities.
• Follow up on Interface Related Documents (ICDs, IDDs, OMPDs, etc.).
• Follow up with Software Development Team on interface-related issues.

The incumbent will be task to take an active role in managing interface projects from inception to completion.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Lead a team of system interface engineers in a site environment.
• Act as primary customer contact for ISCS Interface activities.
• Lead technical sessions with Customer, External Consultants and SWCs (System Wide Contractors) to discuss System Interface issues.
• Manage and be fully responsible for the planning and schedule of interface testing with subsystems of major SWCs.
• Working closely with software development teams to drive technical development leading the delivery of ISCS software for ITC (Integrated Testing and Commissioning activities)
• Follow up on Interface Related Documents such as but not limited to ICDs, IDDs, OMPDs, etc.
• Follow up with Software Development Team for software interface related issues, etc.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in railway systems.
