Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Consultant with strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing database solutions and backend processes that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
• Create and manage UNIX shell scripts to automate processes and job scheduling.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, testers, and business analysts.
• Participate in production support, bug fixing, and system enhancements.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and best practices.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux shell scripting (bash, ksh, etc.).
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.
