Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking a systems engineer to administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Unix/Linux environments. You will manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and backup/recovery processes to sustain business operations.

You will install and support middleware such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, and IIS, while applying patches and hardening security. Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash is essential, with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in system engineering or administration roles.
• Hands-on with Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO, backup solutions) and Unix/Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, AIX, Solaris).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Backup/Recovery) and Unix/Linux system administration (file systems, permissions, services).
• Experience with Terraform; preferably Ansible.
• Familiarity with middleware technologies: IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IIS; basic scripting like PowerShell, Bash, Shell scripting and knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Good to have certifications in Microsoft Windows Server/Azure or Linux certifications (RHCSA/RHCE) and Middleware certifications (optional advantage).
