Job summary

A leading company in the pharmaceutical sector is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist to manage and optimize AVEVA PI Systems. The role includes system administration, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with GMP and cybersecurity requirements. Ideal candidates should have 4-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing systems and a relevant degree or diploma.

Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support AVEVA PI Systems (AF, Historian, Vision, OPC, MES interfaces).

• Perform DeltaV system support and preventive maintenance.

• Act as first point of contact for shop floor system incidents (via ServiceNow).

• Monitor system health and performance; resolve issues within SLA.

• Maintain GMP compliance: audit preparation, user access review, and SOP updates.

• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, perform OS & application patching, and support disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Engineering, or Life Sciences.

• Min. 4–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/manufacturing systems support.

• Hands-on with PI System, DeltaV DCS, virtual machines, and network infrastructure.

• Familiarity with GMP, Part 11/Annex 11, and computer system validation.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and enterprise system compliance.
