About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux administration and VMware virtualization. You will be responsible for managing server infrastructure, virtual environments, and supporting enterprise systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

️ Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers

• Manage and administer VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter environments

• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for both physical and virtual servers

• Apply patches, updates, and upgrades across Linux and VMware environments

• Ensure system security through regular audits, hardening, and access controls

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures

• Work closely with network, application, and security teams for system integration and support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in Linux system administration and VMware environment

• Strong command-line skills and deep understanding of Linux OS internals

• Proficiency in managing VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter

• Experience with storage configuration (SAN/NAS), RAID, and file systems
