System Engineer – Linux
Job Location: Singapore
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Build and configure RHEL 10 VMs in both image and RPM modes.
Conduct CIS hardening and compliance validation using InSpec profiles.
Prepare Remediation and Upgrade Cookbooks (Ansible or equivalent).
Test customer agents (EDR, monitoring, backup, etc.) for compatibility.
Perform in-place upgrade dry runs and rollback validation.
Convert VM images (.vmdk → .ISO) and validate deployability.
Deliver documentation, build guides, and validation reports.
Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
5–8 years RHEL engineering experience (8/9/10).
Deep knowledge of CIS benchmarks and MAS compliance frameworks.
Expertise in Ansible, Image Builder, Kickstart, and Packer.
Hands‑on experience with VMware tooling and image conversion.
Familiar with Chef InSpec / OpenSCAP validation.

Preferred:
RHCE / RHCSA certified.
Experience in financial or regulated environments.
