Job description

Overview

We are looking for experienced and driven Systems Engineer (Communications) to design and implement communications systems for mission-critical defence and/or commercial deployments. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment and are passionate about delivering innovative solutions with real-world impact.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop, test, and integrate advanced communication platforms tailored to customer needs.

Location: Various Locations (Office based in the West but need to travel to client sites)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Office Hours

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system architectures for communication-based solutions
• Prepare and execute test plans and procedures to validate system functionality
• Manage procurement of hardware components and liaise with suppliers
• Plan, set up, and maintain system test environments and labs
• Conduct factory acceptance tests to ensure readiness before deployment
• Lead system installation, integration, and testing at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues during deployment and operation
• Perform on-site acceptance testing in coordination with customer stakeholders
• Manage end-to-end project activities including coordination with internal teams, external vendors, and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in the technology or engineering sector
• Familiarity with Red Hat Linux, virtualized environments, networking, and cybersecurity concepts
• Proficient in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Visio
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and a proactive learning mindset
• Comfortable leading tasks and coordinating across multiple project teams
• This position is open to born & raised Singapore Citizens only due to project requirements
