Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer (DX, Digital Transformation) to design, develop and deploy web applications. The role requires both front-end and back-end expertise to meet user expectations and deliver on time.

Responsibilities include building web-based applications, testing, debugging, and enhancing legacy systems, with experience in HTML5/JavaScript/CSS and SQL databases. West Singapore location with company transport provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing field is a plus.
• Familiarity with VBScript and ASP.NET Core preferred.
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement web-based applications addressing key business challenges.
• Create and execute unit tests to verify code functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects.
• Provide technical assistance to legacy software.
• Continuous improvements to existing applications for end user experience.
• Documentation of end user requirements, design, coding and test scripts.

System Engineer (DX, Digital Transformation) - TK

As a system engineer, your primary responsibilities will include user requirement gathering, understanding change request, designing, developing and deploying of web/ application. You have to be proficient in both front and back end coding, meeting user expectation to ensure application are delivered timely.

1) Build and implement web based application that support and address key business challenges

2) Create and execute unit tests to verify code functionality

3) Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects

4) Provide technical assistance to legacy software

5) Continuous improvements to existing application for better end user experiences

6) Documentation of end user requirements, design, coding and test scripts

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Computer science/ Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing field will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge on basic VB script, ASP.NET Core
• Ability to apply JQuery, High chart JS, JavaScript HTML5, CSS
• Basic understanding on Oracle or SQL server database core
• Familiar with object-oriented programming technical skills and design principles
• SQL knowledge is a must
• Strong team player with a professional mind-set

Advantageous to have:

• Experience with Tableau is advantageous
• Project management knowledge
