Job summary

Kongsberg Gruppen in Singapore is seeking a data engineer to enhance customer efficiency and sustainability through digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in engineering, experience with IT systems, and strong English skills.

This role involves processing data, creating dashboards, and configuring databases while working flexibly in a diverse team committed to sustainable maritime solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in engineering such as computer science, electronics, automation or similar.
• Maritime experience and knowledge about LNG, Offshore or Emission control is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, oral and written.

What you will be doing

• Collecting, storing and processing data from Kongsberg Maritime systems and 3rd party data providers, through different type of industrial protocols.
• Work with customers to understand their challenges, improving their efficiency and sustainability through digitalization.
• Configure databases to structure and organize data.
• Create Apps and dashboards through Kongsberg Maritime digital platform.
• Handling our core cloud services, digital solutions and our open digital ecosystem

We think you should have

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in engineering such as computer science, electronics, automation or similar
• Maritime experience and knowledge about LNG, Offshore or Emission control is an advantage.
• Interest and experience from installation and operation of IT systems, Computer networks, data communication and protocols, Cloud solutions and Microsoft Azure is an advantage
• Fluent in English, oral and written.
