Job summary

Kongsberg Gruppen is looking for a passionate System Engineer - Digital Ocean in Singapore to lead our digital innovation in maritime digitalization. You will be at the forefront, ensuring tailored installations and configurations that meet customer needs while enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability.

Your role involves collecting data, creating applications, and working closely with customers to overcome challenges. We value your unique perspective and aim to foster an inclusive, diverse work environment that champions innovation and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in engineering such as computer science, electronics, automation or similar.
• Maritime experience and knowledge about LNG, Offshore or Emission control is an advantage.
• Interest and experience from installation and operation of IT systems, Computer networks, data communication and protocols, Cloud solutions and Microsoft Azure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, storing and processing data from Kongsberg Maritime systems and 3rd party data providers.
• Work with customers to understand their challenges, improving their efficiency and sustainability through digitalization.
• Configure databases to structure and organize data.
• Create Apps and dashboards through Kongsberg Maritime digital platform.
• Handling core cloud services, digital solutions and open digital ecosystem.
