Job summary

A leading IT consultancy in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage patching schedules, conduct system health checks, and ensure compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019, and familiarity with infrastructure management tools. This role requires on-site presence in Singapore.

Job description

• Execute and manage patching schedules, maintain patching records.
• Perform patching follow-up including Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scans.
• Ensure backup processes are functional and validated.
• Conduct bi-weekly user access reviews.
• Manage and support hardware infrastructure.
• Plan for capacity availability in collaboration with PMO team.
• Ensure compliance with CIS security standards and perform basic security checks.
• Conduct system health checks and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manage user accounts through CyberArk (On-Prem environment).
• Handle AD & DNS management (AD user accounts, GPOs, CNAME records).
• Coordinate asset management and prepare inventory lists with PMO.
• Provision and manage virtual servers.
• Respond to L2 incidents, monitor server/service uptime.
• Oversee Infra Application Management including:
  • VCenter, CyberArk, Veeam, WSUS, Symantec, TrendMicro
  • MSSP issues and license renewals
• Manage system firmware for infrastructure (VCenter, ESXi Hosts).
• Maintain router SMS gateway (Contact lists, services).
• Assist in implementing CIS configurations as needed.
• Participate in infrastructure projects as L2 support.
• Collaborate closely with Client/ Manager and provide technical support when required.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in relevant areas.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019, with some exposure to Linux and ESXi.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management tools and cybersecurity solutions.
• Must be based in Singapore and able to work on-site.
