Job summary

IDEMIA Group in Singapore is seeking a candidate to develop and provide IT Infrastructure for deploying their system at customer sites. Responsibilities include defining deployment plans, configuring hardware, and installing operating systems and monitoring tools.

The ideal candidate will also perform trainings for customer administrators and support continuous improvement while working closely with more senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and use the deployment plan of an IT infrastructure.
• Define and deploy test strategies, test plans and scenarios.
• Track, install, and configure several hardware components.
• Install the OS and virtual environment on customer site.
• Install administration and monitoring tools.
• Perform training for customer administrators.
• Support continuous improvement of existing tools and methodologies.
• Understand Architecture documents.
• Install and configure infrastructures with guidance.
• Write weekly reports on project activities.

Job description

Purpose

This role develops and provides the IT Infrastructure necessary to install the IDEMIA system at customer site.

Key Missions

• Defines and uses the deployment plan of an IT infrastructure
• Define and deploys the test strategy, tests plans and scenarios for system acceptance
• Deploys, tracks, installs and configures several hardware components
• Installs the OS and virtual environment on customer site
• Installs the administration and monitoring tools
• Performs trainings for customer administrators and supports the ramp-up and handover
• Supports continuous improvement of existing tools and methodologies
• Understands Architecture documents
• Installs and configures infrastructures with guidance of a more senior IT or Deployment Network Engineer
• Writes weekly reports of the activity on one or two projects
