Job Summary
Responsible for planning, designing, installing, testing, and implementing systems in accordance with specifications and service levels. Where relevant, perform necessary system programming and configuration.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, design, install, test, and implement systems according to specifications and service levels. Perform necessary system programming and configuration as required.
- Manage system changes through established change request processes and provide status reports to relevant parties.
- Respond promptly to incidents, investigate, and provide temporary and/or permanent resolutions. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures. Monitor the effectiveness of these measures.
- Monitor and measure the performance and availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions to improve performance and availability.
- Monitor the agreed service levels (e.g., service requests, system availability), document, and maintain system configurations; provide regular reports to relevant parties.
- Plan and implement service continuity measures, including backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plans, to ensure continuous business operations.
- Provide technical advice related to systems to customers or project teams.
- Ensure ICT systems management adheres to established ISO20000 and ISO27001 processes and procedures, ITIL best practices, and methodologies where applicable.
- Manage budgets, resources, and schedules for system implementation and operation activities.
- Establish facility management standards and best practices to ensure operational consistency across project and facility management teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT-related majors.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Windows and Oracle - Business Intelligence Enterprise.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux, Oracle ASM, or Microsoft SQL Server is highly advantageous.
