A leading company in the restaurant industry seeks an IT Support Technician to ensure the stability of systems, provide troubleshooting support, and manage IT infrastructure. The role requires a diploma in Computer Science or similar and 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be organized, self-driven, and possess network knowledge.
Job Description
Provide support and ensure the stability for POS, Network and Systems
Provide 1st Level troubleshooting for IT hardware and operational systems
Manage and ensure effectiveness of Windows and Linux servers
Ensure servers are up to date with security patches
Maintaining and upgrading existing infrastructure as required
Provide guidance and advice to colleagues to maintain best practices for the systems and technologies usage in the company
Provide adequate monitoring and execution of patch management activity
Participate in the planning and implementation of systems and technologies for future business needs
Manage and promote active relationships with key vendors and partners
Collaborate with vendors, project Leads and users to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
Keep accurate and updated records of IT assets, purchases and leases
Job Requirements
Minimum diploma in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or relevant field
2 - 3 years of relevant experience
Meticulous and requires minimum supervision
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Self-driven and proactive
L1 network knowledge
Cloud experience will be an advantage
ITIL Foundation will be an advantage
