Our client is seeking a System Designer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

Design AV systems: Provide technical expertise in designing and evaluating audiovisual system setups, creating comprehensive engineering design packages.

Generate documentation: Create detailed Build of Materials (BOM), AV proposals, and functional connection-level drawings for various systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders: Participate in project meetings, coordinate design reviews, and work closely with project managers, sales teams, and customers.

Showcase solutions: Organize and prepare demonstrations of proposed AV solutions for customers.

Stay industry-current: Keep abreast of the latest technologies in the AV industry to ensure cutting-edge designs.

On-site activities: Perform site surveys and attend coordination meetings when required.

Contribute to tenders: Participate in AV tender submissions by creating and reviewing designs.

Who are they looking for?

AV industry experience: At least 2 years of experience in the AV industry as a System Designer or related roles such as Project Engineer or Commissioning Engineer.

Technical knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturers like Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom, Biamp, Clearone, QSC, and Cisco. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus, but training will be provided.

Industry certifications: Relevant certifications such as CTS are advantageous but not mandatory.

Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Adaptability: Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines.

Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to work, with patience and efficiency in task completion.
