Job summary

A leading railway solutions provider in Singapore seeks an individual to support the System Assurance Manager on RAMS, EMC, and Quality activities for railway projects. Candidates should have a Higher Certificate or Degree in Engineering, with at least 2 years' experience in large scale infrastructure projects. Proficiency in MS Office and CADD drafting is necessary. This role demands teamwork and the ability to thrive in complex environments.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in large scale infrastructure or railway projects.
  • Knowledge of Software Assurance, Railway and industry safety processes.
  • Possess Safety Engineering skills including FTA and ETA.

Responsibilities

  • Support the System Assurance Manager on RAMS, EMC and Quality activities.
  • Lead System Assurance meetings with customer’s team, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Support the System Assurance Manager on RAMS, EMC and Quality activities for Railway Projects Lead System Assurance meetings with customer’s team, suppliers and subcontractors, where appropriate, and deliver result and report for the meetings.

Requirements:

Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:

1. Higher Certificate or above in Telecommunications / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

2. At least 2 years' experience in large scale infrastructure or railway projects in which 1 year should be in relevant discipline such as Data Network or Main Control System or PLC coordination.

3. Team player, able to work in complex environment, overtime and under pressure.

4. Proficient in using MS Office/Project Planning application and CADD drafting.

5. Candidates with Building Services background or experience will be considered as Installation Engineers

6. Graduate Candidates are welcome to apply .

7. Degree qualified in engineering or its equivalent.

8. Team player, able to work in complex environment, overtime and under pressure.

9. Knowledge of RAMS, Hazard Analysis and EMC for railway system.

10.Knowledge of Software Assurance, Railway and industry safety processes and standards. (eg. EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN 50121 etc)

11.Possess Safety Engineering skills including FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), ETA (Event Tree Analysis), Safety Case and high level System Safety Analysis skills such as HAZOP.
