The Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) is seeking an experienced System Architect to lead the design and development of integrated smart manufacturing applications. This role focuses on building scalable, cloud-native systems and integrating AI/ML capabilities into advanced industrial software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement robust full-stack applications using .NET C# and Angular
• Design scalable microservice architectures and oversee containerization and orchestration strategies
• Integration of AI/ML capabilities into manufacturing software, ensuring seamless interoperability across systems
• Implement efficient data management and real-time processing pipelines, aligned with cloud-native design principles
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical architecture supports evolving business and manufacturing requirements
• Evaluate, recommend, and adopt appropriate technologies and frameworks for platform evolution
• Contribute to the development of intelligent applications and services that enhance manufacturing operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, design, or system architecture
• Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures
• Strong background in backend (.NET C#) and frontend (Angular) technologies
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and cloud-native application design
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and integrating intelligent capabilities into software systems
• Familiarity with industrial IoT and edge computing in manufacturing environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
