About our Business

Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. We cater to the needs of Defence, Public Safety & Security, and Commercial clients worldwide, providing seamless and innovative services that redefine possibilities.

Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact

We are looking for a skilled System and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to lead the development of advanced underwater systems. This role combines technical leadership in systems engineering with hands-on expertise in GNC, supporting the full system lifecycle from concept to deployment and sustainment.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams to design, integrate, and optimize complex underwater systems, balancing performance, cost, and risk while aligning with business goals. In parallel, you will directly contribute to developing and implementing robust GNC solutions for subsea environments, ensuring precise and reliable system performance.

Be Part of Our Success

  • Lead System Design and Integration. Oversee the architecture, design, and integration of complex underwater systems across their full lifecycle - concept, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

  • Plan and Manage Trials. Develop and coordinate system-level trials, including experimentation, verification and validation (V&V), and sea trials to ensure system performance and compliance with requirements.

  • Develop GNC Algorithms and Solutions. Design, implement, and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms tailored for underwater platforms, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in dynamic marine environments.

  • Drive Technical Leadership Across Disciplines. Coordinate and lead cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring cohesive system development that aligns with project and business objectives.

  • Perform System Analysis and Troubleshooting. Conduct analytical assessments to evaluate system behaviour, identify root causes of technical issues, and implement effective solutions.

  • Balance Performance, Cost, and Risk. Identify and assess technical risks early in the development cycle and develop effective mitigation strategies. Evaluate and balance design trade-offs to meet system performance targets while optimizing cost and minimizing program risk.

  • Ensure Compliance and Documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and contractual requirements, and ensure clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Control Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.

  • Proven experience in the design, integration, and validation of complex engineering systems, preferably in underwater or autonomous domains.

  • Deep technical expertise in GNC, including control theory, state estimation, and sensor fusion techniques.

  • Proficiency with modelling and simulation tools, particularly MATLAB/Simulink.

  • Working knowledge of C/C++

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage trade-offs between performance, cost, and risk.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail in preparing technical documentation, leading design reviews, and engaging with stakeholders.

  • Singaporean only

Our Commitment That Goes Beyond the Norm

  • An environment where you will be working on cutting-edge technologies and architectures.

  • Safe space where diverse perspectives are valued, and everyone’s unique contributions are celebrated.

  • Meaningful work and projects that make a difference in people’s lives.

  • A fun, passionate and collaborative workplace.

  • Competitive remuneration and comprehensive benefits.
