Job summary

A leading technology manufacturing company is urgently seeking a System Analyst to oversee IT project implementations related to shopfloor systems and NPI projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating with business users and technical teams to ensure project success. They will need to have relevant experience in IT and manufacturing processes, along with solid analytical and coding skills.

Qualifications

• Min 1 to 3 years’ experience in IT systems.
• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant.
• Familiar with SQL, RDBMS, and development frameworks like Java/.NET.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for shopfloor and NPI project IT implementation.
• Coordinate with internal business users for requirement evaluation.

Job description

The client is a leading technology manufacturing company specializing in high-performance computing systems, servers, and cloud infrastructure solutions. Below position is open urgently.

Location: Tampines

Working Hours: Normal Office Hours

Responsibilities

• Familiar with manufacturing processes domain and/or experienced with IT project implementation (MES/Shopfloor system)
• Responsible for various shopfloor and NPI project IT implementation
• Participate various NPI project regular meeting with internal stakeholders and external customers to take care IT portion
• Coordinate with internal business users for requirement evaluation, converting customer and internal business requirements into IT functional spec
• Coordinate with corresponding BG IT window for project work review and issue feedback
• Co-work with IT DevOps team for project dependencies and define test cases, identify logic bugs and/or perform root cause analysis
• Co-work with IT Infra and Security team for project setup and implementation tasks that related with network, server and IoT devices provisioning
• Co-work with IT PMO executive to keep track of system enhancement and changes progress
• Co-work with IT support team to identify system and functional gap, as well as IT areas of improvements
• Assist quality control and conduct various UAT

Requirements

• Min 1 to 3 years’ experience in gathering user requirements, performing analysis, drafting functional spec and implementing IT systems.
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant
• Familiar with any SQL and RDBMS scripts. Understand common development frameworks e.g. Java / .NET concepts. Understand each stage of SDLC. Basic coding skill is highly preferred.
• Relevant experience in IT domain or manufacturing process background.
