Key Requirements:
The candidate must have 10+ years of working experience in the following areas:
- Relevant experience in a financial institution for regulatory reporting like MAS610, HKMA, BOT, Top20/100, etc., using reporting platforms such as WKFS-OneSumX, Axiom CV, Moody's, Lombard Risk, Vermag, Bloomberg, etc.
- End-to-end data mapping specification experience is mandatory.
- Understanding of balance sheet reporting is preferred.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, CFA, or equivalents are preferred.
- Good understanding of core banking and treasury products and data requirements for management accounting or regulatory reporting.
- Good understanding of SDLC phases.
- Capability in requirement analysis and functional design skills.
- Ability for self-learning and quick adaptation.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management best practices, methodologies, and lifecycle.
- Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with colleagues in global locations.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Developer and advanced SQL query writing skills.
- Experience in ETL and Data Warehouse is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidates are expected to:
- Understand business functions and analyze user requirements, define project scope, and build consensus, especially for MAS610 and HKMA reporting.
- Lead analysis and scoping of data sourcing, functional requirements/enhancements, design, and specifications, and obtain user agreement.
- Prepare functional, non-functional, and other documentation in compliance with SDLC and secure sign-off from users.
- Develop SIT test schedules, create test cases, and conduct SIT testing.
- Coordinate with users for User Acceptance Testing and with the development team to prepare test environments and support testing.
- Ensure design and build align with standards, with clear articulation and agreement on deviations, covering from data sourcing to report generation.
- Review code to prevent performance issues.
- Prepare documentation such as release checklists and UAT results to facilitate project delivery.
