Job Title: System Analyst

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented System Analyst to support the architecture governance function. This role involves working closely with domain architects and key stakeholders to ensure change initiatives align with enterprise vision and roadmaps, while also maintaining effective governance processes and tools. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with hands-on experience in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and participate in defining and operating the architecture governance process to ensure alignment of initiatives to vision and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with Domain Architects on key initiatives and projects to apply architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.
  • Communicate architecture principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders, and address related questions or concerns.
  • Provide thought leadership on architectural and emerging technology topics, developing forward-looking perspectives on their impact.
  • Maintain and enhance processes and tools that enable enterprise architecture functions, including workflows and governance processes, primarily via JIRA.
  • Promote Platform Thinking across initiatives and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Ability to advise on industry-standard tools for monitoring, alerting, configuration management, and performance tuning.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to design and execute strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and macros) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Familiarity with vendor and invoice management processes.
  • Independent, proactive, and self-driven, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in updating documents, maintaining SOPs, and managing SharePoint site content.
  • Experience with running reports on platforms such as PPM, JIRA, QLIK.
  • High accountability, integrity, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Desired Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with SharePoint page design and workflow creation.
  • Ability to create reports using data extracts from SharePoint.
  • Prior experience in onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Exposure to audit, risk, and compliance work.
  • Familiarity with AS400 systems or project experience.
  • Knowledge of mainframe technologies.
