Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT System Administrator to manage Windows and Linux environments, automate tasks with PowerShell and shell scripting, and contribute to security hardening.

The role includes VMware virtualization, patch management, and cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP, with Docker and Kubernetes container platforms and database operations as needed. Flexibility to work beyond business hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong IT/CS background.
• Experience with Docker Containers and Kubernetes; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) advantageous.
• Linux experience.
• Willingness to work beyond business hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Windows system administration including PowerShell scripting, patching and hardening.
• Linux system administration (SuSE and Redhat) with shell scripting and patching.
• VMware virtualization administration and resource provisioning.
• Knowledge of security remediation processes (vulnerability assessment and patch management).
• Infrastructure troubleshooting across clouds, containers, and databases.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Windows system administration, including PowerShell scripting, system hardening, patching etc
• Linux (SuSE and Redhat) system administration, including shell scripting, system hardening, patching etc
• Virtualisation (VMware) administration, including provision of resources, hardening, patching etc.
• Knowledge in Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure troubleshooting, commercial Clouds (AWS, Azure and GCP), dockers, Containers and Kubernetes Platform operations and administrations and databases

Requirements:

• Strong background in IT, Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience working with Docker Containers and Kubernetes, setting up and managing commercial cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP would be advantageous
• Linux experience
• Comfortable to work beyond business hours including weekend when required
