Job description

  • Independently research, design, develop, and implement tailored IT solutions to meet evolving business needs.

  • Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, with a focus on availability, reliability, and performance.

  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

  • Monitor system logs to detect anomalies and potential security threats and respond proactively.

  • Lead or co-lead IT projects in collaboration with management, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting across the organization, ensuring swift resolution of incidents.

  • Perform incident and problem management in line with ITIL best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system functionality and user experience.

  • Serve as designated backup support for the IT Support Office on vessel-related operations.

  • Manage IT procurement, billing processes, and vendor relationships.

  • Conduct and maintain daily, monthly, and annual IT operational checklists.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement IT process improvements to drive operational efficiency.

  • Travel occasionally to provide IT support on board vessels, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good to have 5-8 years of relevant IT experience, with a strong background in systems administration and support.

  • Proven track record as an L2 support engineer in mid to large-scale enterprises (100+ headcount), including experience managing or facilitating IT projects.

  • Hands-on expertise (minimum 2 years) in administering Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Intune, Compliance, and Security modules.

  • Proficient in M365 administrative tools and modules.

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hands-on experience managing next-generation firewalls.

  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

  • ITIL certification is required.

  • MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert certification is a strong advantage.
