A leading swim club in Singapore is looking for a passionate swim coach to lead our Competitive program. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in coaching competitive swimmers and be able to inspire and guide young athletes aged 7-13 in their training. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment. Regular attendance at meetings and workshops will also be expected, alongside ensuring the safety and discipline of all swimmers.

Key Responsibilities:
Competitive Squad Coaching
• Conduct structured training sessions for age-group swimmers (typically 7–13 years)
• Focus on stroke technique, turns, starts, and overall skill development
• Support swimmers’ preparation for time trials and local meets (e.g., SSPA, SNAG)
• Keep accurate records of attendance, training performance, and competition results
• Communicate goals and development plans to swimmers and parents

General Duties:
• Maintain a professional and positive presence on the pool deck
• Ensure safety protocols and discipline are upheld at all times
• Attend coach meetings, workshops, and parent consultations when scheduled
• Contribute to a team culture that values learning, discipline, and fun

Requirements:
• Certified in Competitive Coaching (e.g., SwimSafer, ASCTA, STA, NROC Level 1/2)
• Minimum 3 years coaching experience with competitive swimmers
• Good understanding of swimmer development stages (ages 3–14)
• Strong communication, patience, and class management skills
• Available to work weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends (6 day work week)
• Current CPR + AED certification (or willing to obtain)
