Job description

We are looking for a SWIFT Specialist to join our client team to complete the last phase of the project. The team needs someone to help set up, configure and support a new SWP IFT setup, including not only SAA but also SWP, SAG,and HSM.


Summary :

As a member of the regional transversal IT team located in India and Singapore, covering the entire Bank presence in the APAC region, your duties are to:

Handle the Change activity (enhancements and projects) on the IT systems used by the Global Finance business lines (Structured Finance, Trade Finance.)

Provide level 1 & 2 technical support on applications in this perimeter.

Liaise with the IT Head-Office teams and the vendor for their support and enhancements when required.

Control & Support the day-to-day Run of the applications (mainly SWIFT, and its peripheral interfaces and automations)

Develops and maintains tools to enhance end-user service level and facilitate support tasks.

Maintain and update technical documents and procedures.

Guarantee the smooth running of one or more applications from start to finish: Daily monitoring, maintenance and upgrade

Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the organisation’s systems.


Main responsibilities and job duties :

Run:

Ensure around-the-clock availability of the business applications: payment systems (Swift Alliance, local RTGS) and regulatory reporting solutions (Vermeg, Riking ...). Whether hosted in the Head office or in Asia.

Change:

  • Participates in the delivery of projects and enhancements, including but not limited to:
  • Branch opening (implementation of all the core banking systems)
  • System migrations and upgrades of existing solutions
  • Systems & efficiency enhancements, in liaison with Business & Organisation teams

Means:

  • Use production IT administration tools (CFT, MQ-Series, Control-M) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Splunk)
  • Coordinate with local and head-office IT teams to release and monitor the applications in the relevant environments.
  • Provide incident/problem communication, tracking & reporting (Service NOW, Jira ...)
  • Track & analyse activity in project/support management tools to enhance end-user service level

Technical requirements :

  • Managing PKI certificates in O2M and SAG.
  • Administrative knowledge on the SWIFT Web Platform (SWP) Application.
  • Setting up and supporting experience on S WIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT, Alliance Gateway
  • Knowledge on Swift Alliance Access (SAA) applications, such as managing the routing rules, application interface, SWIFT Net Interface, User Management and Central RMA.
  • Managing the flow of messages.
  • Specialist knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix ...)
  • Database administration and SQL experience
  • Proficient with production monitoring solution (Zabbix), scheduler Control-M, file transfer protocols (CFT, MQ-Series, ...), ETL tools and reports publishing platforms
  • Scripting language: Python, PowerShell
