Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced SWIFT Operations professional to support and oversee SWIFT-related operations within Wholesale Banking Operations in Singapore. The role focuses on managing SWIFT message processing, driving automation, and ensuring risk-compliant processes.

You will work with offshore teams, contribute to business continuity planning, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree/ Diploma required.
• 5+ years of relevant SWIFT experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Excel, VBA, and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the timely routing of Incoming SWIFT messages and support message screening.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and tech stakeholders to maintain system parameters.
• Act as backup during business continuity events and contingencies.
• Drive STP initiatives and measures to improve automation.
• Prepare client-related documents and tokens as required.
• Perform SWIFTNet Security Officer responsibilities including PKI and billing.
• Support liaison activities with MEPS+MAS for regulatory and testing.
• Supervise and train team members, ensuring adherence to SOPs and service standards.
• Resolve operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure SLA compliance.
• Engage with Middle Office, RM, and Branches to deliver high-quality service.
