The Oppportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to build, test, and maintain innovative software solutions that drive our business. You will have the opportunity to work on both front-end and back-end technologies, participate in an Agile development environment, and contribute to meaningful projects from day one.

The Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and RESTful APIs

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality code through peer reviews and GenAI tools

• Write clear, maintainable documentation and sample code for SDKs and APIs

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues

• Follow coding standards, secure coding practices

• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices

• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and occasionally external partners

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Angular) and/or back-end frameworks (e.g., Spring, Node.js)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with test automation framework (e.g., Cucumber)
• Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with databases (MySQL, NoSQL)
• Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps fundamentals
• Self-motivated, quick learner with attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
