Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedMainframe Technology Leaderto drive our backend modernization strategy. You will lead technical direction, set best practices, and guide teams in transforming legacy systems into scalable, future-ready solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Define technology strategy, select stacks, and enforce best practices.
• ModernizeIBM mainframe (Z/OS, COBOL, DB2)andAS400 (RPGLE)systems.
• Lead performance tuning, integrations (APIs, MQ, CFT), and migrations.
• Mentor engineers inmainframe tools (ENDEVOR, EXPEDITER)and modern frameworks (Spring Boot).
• Promote agile practices, clean code, and automation.
• Simplify and converge technologies across teams.
• Optimize SDLC processes for quality and scalability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years in mainframe environments, including 4+ years in leadership.
• Proficient in COBOL, DB2, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE.
• Mainframe tools (ENDEVOR, EXPEDITER, KONG/SOLACE APIs).
• Integration (MQ, CFT, Spring Boot).
• Strong debugging, documentation, and version control (Git/Bitbucket) skills.
• Proven success inlegacy system modernization.
