Job description

A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Sustainability Specialist position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of company-wide sustainability initiatives, including decarbonization, ESG reporting, and CSR efforts.
• Identify how these initiatives are relevant to each business unit and ensure they are reflected in departmental roles and responsibilities.
• Act as a subject matter, promoting two-way communication and fostering collaboration between the Sustainability department and other divisions to support sustainability goals.
• Represent the Sustainability department as an internal ambassador, helping to bridge cross-functional gaps and align strategic objectives.
• Support the development and implementation of effective environmental and sustainability strategies aligned with corporate direction.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultures and organizational levels
• Strong analytical skills to interpret discussions and generate meaningful insights
• Willingness and flexibility to take on different functional roles and relocate if needed
