Job summary

Singapore Institute of Technology is seeking a Senior Professional Officer (& Above) to lead sustainability-focused projects in the food and chemicals domains. The role involves collaborating with faculty, industry partners, researchers, and students to co-create practical, commercially viable solutions that advance environmental sustainability.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Engineering with sustainability training, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD is preferred.
• At least 15 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record in sustainability innovation and ESG integration.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 14044 and related sustainability certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects impacting the Food and Chemicals ecosystem focusing on sustainability innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage capabilities across IaaS CSI.
• Support life cycle analysis, environmental impact assessments, and resource optimization studies.
• Develop partnerships with industry and academic partners to co-create sustainable solutions.
