Job Responsibilities:
- Drive compliance for ESPR regulations, Design for Sustainability and Circularity score card in the Business Unit. Act as Sustainability Subject Matter Expert and internal Sustainability Consultant for development teams. Collaborate with Global Sustainability Team.
- Perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for Distributed IO and Small Controller products.
- Cooperate with Development Teams and other internal functions such as Sourcing, Industrialization, Operations, Quality, Distribution Centers to collect data needed for LCA, Design for Sustainability and other sustainability reporting. Connect with Suppliers to collect data and identify design alternatives.
- Stay up to date with the requirements and legislative documents related to sustainability.
- Work with Management to drive best practices for new product development.
- Implement design practices to calculate and improve reliability, durability, recyclability, modularity, reparability of the product.
- Support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide programs and processes to support product certification and compliance initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional projects to manage changes to products and processes to ensure compliance integrity to new or changed product environmental regulations, audits, and safety certification requirements.
- Understand and Analyze complex regulatory and market trends and share information with impacted business groups. Work with business partners to assess risk and strategy for ensuring compliance of RA products.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Familiarity with Ecodesign Directive and ESPR.
- Passion on Sustainability, Green Environment and Circularity.
- 3+ years of experience in PLM tool, SAP and Windchill.
- Knowledge of EU legislative process and regulations related to Green Deal.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and various input/Output products.
- Be able to gather and analyze information and help develop appropriate options and actions.
- Experience driving standards requirements implementation.
