Job description

To work under the renewable division of an EPC company where this position will chart a net-zero roadmap with energy transition and decarbonization solutions for clients. This role will be responsible for helping the company's clients profile their GHG emissions, set science-based emissions targets, design net-zero roadmaps and climate actions, and develop carbon projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects related to carbon accounting, target settings, net-zero roadmapping, and environmental attribute project development.
  • Project managing resources, schedules, sub-contractors, budgets, and risks.
  • Preparation and submission of proposals for new projects.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
  • Min. 3 years experience in executive sustainability and carbon development projects.
  • Familiar with sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
  • Knowledge in emerging sustainability and carbon market trends, standards, and policies.
  • Knowledge in carbon accounting and GHG Protocol.
  • Knowledge in lifecycle assessment.
  • Knowledge in Science Based Target Settings.
  • Knowledge of climate-related risks, opportunities, and resiliency assessment.
  • Knowledge of nature-based solutions.
  • Knowledge in the Energy Sector.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence to engage with different external clients, agencies, and partners.
  • Attention to detail with good presentation, analytical, and writing skills.
