Job description

Responsibilities:

• Set up room, equipment, and supplies; check patient identity, consent, and procedure site
• Maintain sterile field, assist in surgical timeout, pass instruments, and support surgeons during procedures
• Safely transfer and position patients before and after surgery; assist in patient handover to recovery
• Label and handle specimens; clean instruments and disinfect equipment post-surgery
• Clean and restock operating room to ensure readiness for the next procedure

Requirements:

• WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Operating Theatre Support)
• Relevant healthcare working experience is preferred
• Possess initiative and keen to learn
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
