Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to help define and deliver our partner acceleration activities for AWS Support service within our AWS Partner Network. The AWS Partner Network (APN) includes tens of thousands of consulting partners, systems-integrators, technology partners, ISVs, distributors, and value-added resellers that are using AWS as their cloud delivery platform around the world.

AWS Support Partner Success Manager will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of the AWS Support offer. You will establish deep business and technical relationships with AWS Partners to enable and grow our ecosystem of AWS Support partners in APJC.

You will be responsible for growing the business of our partners in the APJC region by designing and implementing targeted strategies. You will have day-to-day interactions with our most strategic AWS Support partners and act as trusted advisor assisting throughout the lifecycle of all partner led opportunities. You will also work very closely with the AWS sales team to drive joint sales engagement to support the development of a strategic plan for future opportunities and pursuits.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the executive level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Key job responsibilities
  • Understand products and services offered by Amazon Services and be able to articulate their functions and benefits to external audiences.
  • Review and monitor performance and sales of key AWS Support partners to manage their performance.
  • Build, review and execute annual AWS Support partner growth and success strategy for strategic partners aligned with the AWS partner team.
  • Execute the strategic sales and business development plan while working closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, technical teams, functional teams etc.).
  • Identify key market verticals and regional partners across APJC to grow the AWS Support partner led business.
  • Understand the technical and training requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal AWS product teams to guide the direction of future offerings.
  • Prepare and provide business reviews for the senior management team.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • 8+ years of prior work in business development, sales, or sales-engineering, preferably in the technology, internet and e-commerce sectors experience
  • 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams including direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, product management and account management teams
  • Experience developing an indirect sales channel, growing partner competencies, and delivering sell-to and sell-through revenue.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • - Experience of working and driving with/for global technology companies and solutions.
  • Masters or MBA preferred.
  • Strong analytical and skills with a focus on delivering a growing pipeline of partner projects and their successful delivery.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
